Find Out The Secret To Getting a Lean Body in a Reality Show?

Did You Hear about the two longest running soaps?  All My Children, (AMC)  and One Life to Live will end their very long storied runs.  Perhaps you have heard that ABC has announced that both soaps will go off the air so that the network can air cheaper, talk show/reality programming.  Both soaps will be replaced with talk shows. The first is called The Chew, which will have a food-themed focus. The second is a show tentatively called The Revolution.

An executive at the network said that “this bold step was taken to expand our business because viewers are looking for different types of programming these days. They are telling us there is room for informative, authentic and fun shows that are relatable, offer a wide variety of opinions and focus on ‘real life’ takeaways.”

Except for a very few reality shows, I tend to think most of them are ridiculous, immature, and offer very little enrichment, I do think if done well, we can all be enriched by learning good information regarding food, diet, nutrition, and just plain healthy living, and perhaps true transformation. I’m kind of excited about the possibilities here.

Since we know absolutely nothing about the meat (no pun intended) of the two shows to replace the two long-term soaps, it will remain to be seen. I’ll certainly stay on this one though because it is of great interest to me, but (with the last episode of All My Children to air sometime in September) what in the world will happen to Susan Lucci AKA Erica Kane?

I will freely admit I taped the show religiously back in the 90’s and of course Erica Kane was one of my favorites along with another popular AMC character, Kelly Ripa who played Hayley Vaughan Santos. And then of course went on to co-host the very successful, LIVE! with Regis & Kelly…  Getting back to Erica Kane… My impression of Susan Lucci is that she is genuinely a wonderful, victorious person with great values and no doubt she will land on her feet with some new exciting projects once AMC goes off the air.

She has sure stayed so youthful and slim and everyone tells me she looks great at age 64. I wish I could see her and how she looks. Soap stars are usually exceptionally attractive.  It just shows you that eating well, exercising, and a good attitude is important to staying in good health and keeping a good lean body.

I’ll keep you posted on the two potentially interesting reality shows, The Chew, and The Revolution.  Here’s to a good healthy lean body, and being inspired by great people even if they are soap opera stars…
