Wheat Belly anyone? – Truth About Abs Shows Us Why Wheat is keeping you fat

Here at LeanBodyWorks we’ve been enjoying and learning from an 8-part series on common “healthy” foods that are likely keeping you from achieving your lean body. Yes, even if the general party line thinks of them as “healthy” I’m here to tell you that many of the 8 I covered are not healthy nor are they going to help you get the lean body you want.

This is part 8 of 8. The very last part in this particular health series.

The 8th “healthy food to watch out for:
Whole Grain Bagels.

First, check this out…

A large “deli” bagel is loaded with carbs and calories, many times over 400 cals in a single bagel.

And as you know, most of us slather some kind of topping on the bagel. Cream cheese, butter, deli meat, etc. Not ideal for weight loss.

And don’t be fooled by the idea that it is made from whole grain.

Most grains in this country are so highly processed. It just sounds healthy because we were told over and over that whole grains are good for us. Its’ called “mass marketing”.

In the last post I clearly point out that wheat is not our friend when it comes to losing weight or in terms of staying healthy.

I highly recommend reading
Wheat Belly <—

Check out the best selling book above and discover the latest research on the wheat we now have in our food supply. Thanks to what is known as Big Agriculture, “modern” wheat is making us fat and sick.

The book thoroughly explains both whole wheat and whole grains.

Regarding the topic of Whole grains… …they are even more processed than wheat.

For that 400 cals you get in a average deli-sized bagel you can have a ton of other delicious, much healthier options.

What other options?

Truth About Abs <—

While some of the foods are only “thought” to be healthy (like fruit juice, whole grain bagels, whole wheat bread, etc), food items like nuts, nut butters, and avocado are foods that I’d recommend in just about everyone’s diet and BTW, so does my coach and friend, Mike Geary of
